Architect Aparna is a distinguished professional with a strong academic background. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Architecture from the renowned School of Planning and Architecture at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in Hyderabad and went on to obtain her Master's degree in Planning, specialising in Housing, from the prestigious School of Planning and Architecture in New Delhi. She is advancing her expertise by pursuing doctoral research in Architecture at Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University in Hyderabad.
Currently serving as Assistant Professor at Aurora University, Ar. Aparna heads the School of Architecture and Planning. Under her guidance, the school offers a Bachelor of Architecture and a Master of Architecture with specializations in Building Construction Management and Interior Design, fully accredited by the Council of Architecture in New Delhi. Ar. Aparna is actively involved in developing new course structures and curricula for the Architecture discipline, ensuring compliance with the National Education Policy (NEP) and the guidelines set by Aurora University, which is implementing a quarter education system for the first time in India.
Ar. Aparna boasts 18 years of extensive experience in academia and the professional world. Throughout her career, from lecturer to professor at various Architecture colleges, she has empowered and transformed students into confident, well-rounded professionals, sharing her invaluable knowledge and expertise with them at every step. She has worked on international student exchange programs conducted by SPA JNTU on the “city’s morphology”. She has trained working professionals in various technical training programs conducted by Dr. Marri Chenna Reddy Human Resource Development Institute of Telangana, and Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University in Hyderabad.
Her professional journey encompasses a diverse range of specialities, including architecture, interior design, urban-rural planning, and project feasibility studies. She excels in conducting techno-economic viability assessments, exploring best-use options, and preparing tender and bid documentation for government projects. Additionally, she is skilled in creating detailed project reports for large-scale initiatives, doing due diligence for project initiations, and performing financial feasibility analyses to support fundraising efforts. She was associated with various organisations such as IL&FS, AP AGROs, DLF Housing, Cushman Wakefield, Mahindra Live Spaces, National Institute of Rural Development (NIRD), KPC Projects Limited, Ambica Group, Medicare Educational Trust, Zepto, Montfort group, Ramagundam Municipality, etc, rendering professional services.
