One Day Workshop on Drone Technology

Department of Computer Science and Engineering has conducted Workshop on Drone Technology on 02 nd April 2024 at University Seminar Hall. As part of workshop we have invited Mr.Vamshi Krishna – Director – IDA, Mr.Madhu Nallan Chakravarthy, Director Business Development, IDA, Mr.Sumit Krishnan – DGCA- Certified Remotely Piloted Aircraft Instructor, IDA. The experts has addressed staff and students of B.Tech CSE, CSE(AIML), CSE(DS), BCA.

The primary objective of the drone workshop was to equip our students with practical skills in drone operation, maintenance, and application development. Through an interactive session, participants were introduced to the fundamentals of drone technology, including aerodynamics, propulsion systems, navigation principles, and regulatory considerations by the experts from India Drone Academy. Moreover, the workshop sought to foster creativity and innovation by encouraging students to explore the potential of drones across various disciplines, such as agriculture, environmental monitoring, and disaster management.
