Associate Professor, Dept. of Chemistry
Dr. Ganesh Gollavelli currently serves as a Chemistry Associate Professor in the Department of Liberal Arts and Sciences at Aurora Deemed to be University. Previously, he held the position of Associate Professor at Aditya Engineering College (Autonomous), affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada, India (2021-2023).
Dr. Gollavelli has published in renowned journals such as ACS, RSC, Elsevier, and Springer. Additionally, he has filed a US Patent and received various national and international scholarships.
He is an active member of professional organisations including AAAS Science, ACS, Global Water Intelligence, and Synergy Publishers. Dr. Gollavelli has played a key role as an organising member in international conferences and workshops and has been a participant and invited speaker at numerous national and international conferences. In the realm of teaching, Dr. Gollavelli imparts knowledge in subjects like Graphene Chemistry and Applications, Inorganic Chemistry for undergraduate and postgraduate levels, Advanced Analytical Instrumentation Techniques - Theory and Practice, Research and Projects Writing, and Engineering Chemistry. His research endeavours focus on the preparation and characterisation of inorganic and organic nanomaterials, including Graphene, Perovskites, Mesoporous materials, and Polymers for applications in Imaging and Therapy of Cancer, Bacterial disinfectants, Water Technology, Catalysis, and Solar Cells. Dr. Gollavelli's expertise extends to Super Science and Universal Manipulations.
Awards/ Achievements: Distinctions from Andhra University. JRF from NCCR and ICSR-IIT Madras. Taiwan Govt. Scholarship for PhD by MOFA. Outstanding Achievement Award in Ph.D, and Publication Award by National Tsing Hua University. Young Achiever recognition by RSquareL, MOST Postdoc / Faculty Fellowships by NTHU, and National Chiao Tung University- NSC Taiwan (ROC).
