Assistant Professor, Dept. of Mechanical Engineering
Dr. KSN Satish Idury is currently serving as Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at School Engineering, Aurora Deemed to be University. Previously he was an academic faculty member in Department of Automation and Robotics at Sharad Institute of Technology, Kolhapur and Mechanical Engineering Departments of Malla Reddy Engineering College, Hyderabad and Dayananda Sagar University, Bengaluru. Dr. Satish Idury obtained both Masters and Ph.D degrees in Materials Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Nagpur. After defending his doctoral thesis in February 2018, he worked as Project Officer in IIT Madras for six months.
Dr. Satish Idury has ten SCI publications to his credit and published his research in Material Thermodynamics and Additive Manufacturing domains in Elsevier, Springer and Taylor Francis platforms. Dr. Satish Idury was awarded post-doctoral fellowship from China University of Mining and Technology, Xuzhou, China for the period 2020-2023. He is presently serving as a principal scientist in DST Indo Canda project on Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing in collaboration with IIT Delhi. He is an active reviewer of Journal of Alloys and Compounds, Journal of Non-Crystalline Solids and Transactions of Indian Institute of Metals. Dr. Idury is a professional member of Indian Institution of Industrial Engineering Mumbai and Indian Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics.
