MA English is a postgraduate program that provides advanced study in English language, literature, and critical theory. The curriculum covers a wide range of topics including literary history, literary criticism, cultural studies, linguistics, and contemporary literature. Students will explore various genres and periods of English literature, analyzing texts within their historical, social, and cultural contexts. The program aims to enhance students' analytical, research, and writing skills while fostering a deeper understanding of literary and linguistic theories.
Candidates must have completed a Bachelor's degree (B.A. or equivalent) in English literature or a related discipline from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate score of 50%. Additionally, candidate must qualify the entrance test AURUM conducted by the university. The duration of this MA program is typically 2 years.
Qualify AURM PG. Candidates having valid GATE/ CUET score are exempted from AURUM PG .
